History of Holden Barnett - How It All Began

In 1996, Tom Holden founded Alliance Construction Inc. which later became Alliance Building & Development, LLC. Tom oversaw daily operations of the company including sales, estimating, and management of superintendents. In 2002, Nick Brett joined Alliance serving as a Superintendent and later becoming lead Project Manager. New home budgets ranged from $300,000 to $2,000,000 with renovations and additions ranging from $100,000 to $500,000. Alliance performed on over 100 projects.

Hall Barnett joined Barnett Properties in 1988 after working several years in the banking industry. Barnett Properties was founded in 1971 by Hall’s father, Bill. Barnett Properties is a commercial real estate firm specializing in the development, leasing, and management of retail properties. Today, Hall serves as President of Barnett Properties and offers a deep knowledge of finance, management, and land acquisition.

Holden Barnett Properties, LLC was formed by Hall Barnett and Tom Holden. They combined their years of experience in business management, finance, land development, real estate acquisition, and construction to focus on providing high quality residential properties throughout the greater Triangle market. Whether through remodeling existing homes, custom in-fill homes, multi-family, or neighborhood-scale development, these skillsets combine to produce excellent results.

We focus on Raleigh/Durham and the Research Triangle; however, our projects span across our great State. We offer a range of niche services that meet the needs of other developers, individual homeowners, and investors. These services include budget analysis, value engineering, site development, selection management, and vertical construction. From initial land planning through punch-list completion, we can scale to meet the needs of your project.
